With many years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, I’m passionate about providing neuro-affirming support that helps people feel truly understood. I hold a Master’s of Social Work and am a Registered Social Worker in both British Columbia and Ontario. Drawing on my educational background and experience as a Life Skills and Empowerment Coach, I am excited to offer counselling services here at Aspire.
I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental, and inclusive space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, making sense of your brain, working toward self-acceptance, managing anxiety, or feeling isolated in your neurodivergence, I’m here to support you. My approach to counselling is relational, meaning I look forward to sharing moments of humour, genuineness, and collaboration with you. I draw from strengths-based and trauma-informed practices and include elements of CBT and ACT. I also offer Equine Assisted Counselling, which can provide a unique, experiential way to build self-awareness, emotional regulation, confidence, and personal growth in a non-traditional environment.
Outside of work, I look forward to spending time with family and friends, enjoying quiet moments with my dog, and exploring hobbies like crocheting, baking, hiking, and discovering new coffee shops.
